Location: Lurgan, County Armagh
Pay: £12.71 per hour + performance bonuses (paid weekly)
Job type: Full-time, temporary to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Start date: Immediate starts available

TCR Staffing Solutions is recruiting experienced Skilled Knife Operatives for a busy beef meat factory in Lurgan. This is ongoing work with the opportunity to move to a permanent position. Please note this is a skilled role: previous meat factory knife experience is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out skilled knife operations within a beef meat factory environment.
• Undertake skinning and trimming duties to the required standards.
• Work safely and efficiently within a busy production / meat factory environment.
• Follow all site health, safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and food hygiene.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.

Essential requirements

• Previous meat factory knife experience.
• Demonstrable experience using knives in a professional meat-processing environment.
• Experience in beef processing, particularly skinning or trimming, is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work full-time Monday to Friday.
• Physically capable of working in a busy meat factory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

What we offer

• £12.71 per hour plus performance bonuses.
