Learning & Organisational Development Administrator

Reports To: Learning & Organisational Development Facilitator
Job Summary
The Learning & Organisational Development Administrator will support the delivery of a high‑quality, client‑focused Learning & Development service. The role involves managing day‑to‑day administration, maintaining learning systems, producing training reports, and ensuring compliance with internal quality and governance standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide efficient administrative support to the Learning & Development team.
- Offer advice and guidance to staff and managers on Learning & Development processes.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately for processes such as Assistance to Study, Work Experience, Corporate Welcome, PDPRs and Mandatory Training.
- Support and advise on the Trust’s Digital Learning Management System.
- Collect, analyse and report on Learning & Development activity data.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring secure storage and retrieval.
- Work collaboratively with managers, staff, trade unions and service users.
- Assist with projects, surveys and feedback activities.
- Support the promotion and communication of Learning & Development programmes.
- Monitor and coordinate training equipment, stationery and purchasing needs.
- Organise meetings, take minutes and support training programme planning.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications (one of the following):
- 5 GCSEs (A–C) including English and Maths plus 2 years’ administrative/customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent
OR - NVQ Level 2 in Administration/Customer Service plus GCSE English & Maths (A–C) plus 2 years’ administrative/customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent
Experience:
- At least 1 year’s experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience maintaining digital information systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of the role of a Human Resources function.
Desirable Criteria
- 1 year’s experience working in a Human Resources environment.
