General Operative – Electrical Manufacturing
Salary: £12.71 – 13.45 depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, permanent 40 hours per week
Start date: Immediate start available
Total Care Recruitment is recruiting experienced General Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturer of electrical control panels and electrical distribution equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team in a warm, clean and welcoming workshop environment, with full training, career development and an early finish every Friday.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am5:00pm
Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm
40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Assembling switchgear and electrical control panels from technical drawings
Assembling steelwork
Accurately positioning and mounting components
Fitting and forming copperwork
Completing work safely, accurately and within agreed deadlines
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Essential Criteria
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure
Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
Previous experience in assembly, electrical manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or a similar workshop environment is preferred.
