We currently have temporary Catering Assistant roles available at Causeway Hospital. Hours are up to 30 per week, with shifts of 7am–1pm or 1pm–7pm, including some weekends. An Enhanced Access NI is required.

Role Summary

You will support the hospital catering team by preparing, heating and serving meals to patients, maintaining hygiene standards, and keeping kitchen areas clean and safe.

Main Duties

• Prepare, heat and serve meals
• Assist with basic food preparation
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Clean kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
• Restock supplies
• Work as part of a team
• Follow instructions from supervisors

Shift Requirements

• Fri/Sat/Sun: 7am–1pm or 1pm–7pm (2 staff needed)
• Mon–Fri: 7am–1pm or 1pm–7pm (2 staff needed)

What’s Required

• Ability to work in a busy environment
• Good hygiene standards
• Flexibility with shifts
• Enhanced Access NI
• Experience in a kitchen environment (preferred)
• English language skills (preferred)
• Must be authorised to work in the UK
• Must be able to work on-site in Coleraine
