Building Sales Executive – Concrete Manufacturer

Location: Outside Ballymena, County Antrim
Salary: £32,500 per year
Job type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional 7.30am starts on a rota basis and flexibility for additional hours when required

TCR Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Building Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a customer-focused concrete manufacturer based outside Ballymena. Our client supplies products to civil infrastructure, agriculture and building customers across the UK and Ireland, and continually develops its range to meet customer needs.

This role offers the opportunity to build lasting customer relationships, develop new business and help achieve sales and gross profit targets. You will engage with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face meetings, providing excellent service throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and maximise sales opportunities while delivering excellent customer service.
• Handle customer enquiries confidently, recommend suitable solutions and manage expectations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
• Prepare, record and follow up on enquiries and tenders accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain customer records using CRM software and manage orders and the sales pipeline through the ERP system.
• Use market intelligence and data analysis to inform business development plans.
• Work closely with Planning, Production, Quality, Technical and Despatch teams to meet customer requirements and delivery timescales.
• Support colleagues in achieving team targets and KPIs.
• Manage customer complaints professionally and support their resolution.
• Follow company health and safety policies.

• Field sales experience and a proven ability to achieve sales and customer service KPIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong interest in the building and construction industry.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, proactive, results-focused approach.

Desirable

• Knowledge of precast building products.
• Experience travelling for business throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
• Experience working in a busy environment.
