Band 4 Support Worker – Family Contact
Location: Lisburn
Pay: £14.19 per hour
Job type: Temporary, full-time (block booking)
Hours: Full-time; shift pattern to be confirmed
TCR Staffing Solutions is recruiting Band 4 Family Contact Workers for our client’s Child & Family Service in Lisburn. This role supports safe, child-focused family contact and plays a key part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children within Children’s Services. Applicants must already be NISCC registered; sponsorship is not available.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support family contact sessions in line with care plans.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children during contact.
- Observe, record and report on contact sessions accurately.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Liaise with Social Workers and other professionals as required.
Essential criteria
- NISCC registration (essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to a car with business-use insurance.
- Experience working with children and families in a health or social care setting.
- Strong communication, observation and report-writing skills.
All appointments are subject to an Enhanced AccessNI disclosure, satisfactory references and right to work checks. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders (NI) Order 1978.
