Location: Crossmaglen, County Armagh
Pay: £16.43 per hour (breaks paid)
Job type: Temporary, full-time
Hours: 44.5 hours per week (two rotas available)

TCR Staffing Solutions is recruiting Hygiene Operatives to join a newly developed food manufacturing facility in Crossmaglen, County Armagh. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety in a busy manufacturing environment.

Shift patterns

• Rota 1: Monday 07:00–19:00, Tuesday 07:00–19:00, Friday 06:30–17:00, Saturday 07:00–17:00 (44.5 hours, breaks paid)
• Rota 2: Wednesday 07:00–19:00, Thursday 07:00–19:00, Friday 06:30–17:00, Saturday 07:00–17:00 (44.5 hours, breaks paid)

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning, scheduled cleaning and deep-cleaning duties throughout the facility.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety to help prevent contamination.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following company procedures and COSHH guidelines.
• Wear the required PPE, particularly when handling chemicals.
• Dispose of food waste and packaging responsibly, keeping designated areas clean and tidy.
• Report any equipment damage, hygiene concerns or signs of pest activity to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety procedures and attend required training.

• Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.
• Willing to follow hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures.
• Previous hygiene or cleaning experience in food manufacturing is beneficial.
