Band 3 Debt Officer – Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry
Total Care Recruitment is recruiting a Debt Officer for a full-time temporary placement at Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry. An immediate start is preferred. The booking is expected to run until 31 December 2026.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Grade: Band 3
Location: Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry
The role
Working with the Debt Manager, you will help manage and recover debts owed to the Trust. Your duties will include reviewing overdue accounts, updating debt records and Excel spreadsheets, dealing with queries, and liaising with finance teams and other relevant contacts. You will handle personal and financial information confidentially.
Essential criteria
You must have one of the following:
– Four GCSEs at grades A–C, including English Language and Maths (or equivalent or higher qualifications), plus at least one year’s clerical or administrative experience; or
– At least two years’ clerical or administrative experience.
You must also have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are required.
