Location: Bangor
Pay: £16.68 per hour
Hours: 36.25 hrs/week, Monday to Friday + Standby Rota
Contract: 6-Month Temporary (Possible Extension)
Role Overview: Support the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service by driving specialist vehicles, delivering operational equipment to incidents, managing warehouse supplies, and carrying out testing, maintenance, and decontamination of firefighting kit.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a service delivery environment that included driving Large Goods Vehicles (LGV).
- Full, current UK HGV/LGV Category C driving licence.
- Full, current UK B+E driving licence.
- Counterbalance and Reach forklift licences (or willingness to complete training).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Category D1 driving licence.
- NVQ Level 2 or technical/maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of Fire & Rescue Service equipment.
