Change Manager (Band 8a)

Salary: Band 8a (£55,690 – £62,682 per annum)
Contract: Temporary

We are currently accepting candidate applications and agency submissions for a Change Manager (Band 8a) to join the Recruitment Shared Service Centre (RSSC) team.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operational change management plans to transition teams to new regional systems.
- Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and user readiness evaluations.
- Lead focus groups, workshops, and change training sessions across key departments.
- Develop risk mitigation plans for change resistance and coach line managers through transition.
- Line manage project staff, establish reporting structures, and oversee daily project governance.
Essential Shortlisting Criteria:
- Option A: University degree / professional qualification AND 3+ years’ experience in a business change role at middle management level or above (Band 7 equivalent or above).
- Option B: 5+ years’ experience in a business change role at middle management level or above.
- AND: Proven track record in delivering large-scale change plans.
- AND: 3+ years’ experience (within the last 5 years) managing diverse internal/external stakeholders.
- AND: Direct project management experience and hands-on experience facilitating workshops/training.
- AND: Valid full UK driving licence with access to a car.
Desirable: PROSCI or equivalent change management qualification.
