Are You an Experience Home Manager looking for your next role?
The Role
The Home Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate and high-quality care. You will lead by example, creating a positive environment where residents feel valued, respected and supported, and where colleagues are empowered to deliver outstanding care.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance and continuous improvement across the service. You must be a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years’ experience.
You will also build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues, promoting a culture centred on dignity, respect and person-centred care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
- Ensure all records, documentation and care plans are accurate, compliant and maintained to the highest standards.
- Build effective relationships with internal support teams to ensure colleagues are appropriately recruited, inducted, trained and supported.
- Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory and company requirements, including Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Employment Law and care standards.
- Ensure all registered nurses maintain a valid UK NMC PIN and employee records remain compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with senior management to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
- Manage the home’s budget effectively, ensuring financial stability and value for money.
- Drive continuous quality improvement while maintaining exceptional standards of care and resident wellbeing.
About You

You will have:
- Previous experience managing a care home.
- A strong understanding of care regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A proven ability to manage budgets, compliance and operational performance.
- A genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care and achieving the best outcomes for residents.
