Job Description

Total Care Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Band 3 Nurse Bank Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the Nurse Bank Office based in the Magowan West Building, Portadown. This is a full-time fixed-term maternity cover role until 31 January 2027.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Nurse Bank service. You will work closely with the Nurse Bank Coordinators and Manager, supporting staffing processes, onboarding, training compliance, and payroll administration. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet service deadlines.

Criteria

Essential:

• Right to work in the UK
• Either 4 GCSEs (A–C), including English Language, plus 1 year’s clerical/administrative experience, or 2 years’ clerical/administrative experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience in recruitment or HR-related roles
• Experience using computerised databases or information systems

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support within the Nurse Bank Office
• Maintain accurate records on the Bank Staff System
• Support onboarding of new bank staff, including ID checks, uniforms, and training records
• Schedule, record, and report on mandatory and role-specific training
• Assist with weekly payroll processing
• Handle calls and support filling shifts in a timely manner
• Respond to queries from managers, staff, payroll, and external agencies
• Produce reports and support governance and compliance requirements
• Prioritise workload to meet service deadlines
