Job Description
Total Care Recruitment Ltd is an approved provider for Health & Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI), and we are currently recruiting multiple Catering Assistants to join the Catering Department at Antrim Area Hospital, with immediate starts available.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy healthcare setting, providing essential catering support for patients, staff, and visitors. The role involves assisting with meal preparation and service, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and safe at all times.
Successful candidates must be reliable, able to work as part of a team, and willing to follow food safety, health and safety, and infection control procedures.
Criteria
Essential:
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with staff, patients, and the public
• Reliable and responsible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
• Previous catering or kitchen experience
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards
• Flexibility to cover different shifts
