Job Description
Total Care Recruitment Ltd is an approved provider for Health & Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI), and we are currently recruiting Catering Assistants to join the team within Craigavon Area Hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy healthcare environment, providing essential catering support for patients, staff, and visitors.
The role involves assisting with food preparation and service, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring kitchen, dining, and service areas are kept clean and safe. You will be expected to follow food safety, infection control, and health and safety procedures at all times and to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Essential:
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills when dealing with staff, patients, and the public
• Reliable and responsible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
• Previous catering or kitchen experience
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards
• Flexibility to cover a range of shifts
