Job Description
Total Care Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Catering Assistant for an immediate start within a hospital environment in the Coleraine area. This is a temporary ongoing assignment, initially for a three-month period, with the possibility of extension depending on service requirements.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day catering operations, including food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff, including serving meals to patients on the wards.
This role is worked on a rota basis and will include evening and weekend shifts. Applicants must be reliable, flexible, and willing to complete an Access NI check as part of the onboarding process.
Criteria
Essential:
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous catering or kitchen experience
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo an Access NI check
Desirable:
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and infection control procedures
