We’re hiring: Finance Officer – Band 3 (Temporary, 3 months)

Location: Greenmount House, Woodside Industrial Estate, Ballymena
Contract: Full-time

About the Role:
We are seeking a Finance Officer to join the Northern Health & Social Care Trust on a temporary 3-month contract. You will assist in delivering client financial services, including processing payments, maintaining client records, preparing invoices, and supporting financial administration within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input client data into Abacus and Encompass systems and ensure accurate processing of payments and invoices
• Prepare and maintain client files, contracts, and related documentation
• Liaise with Residential/Nursing Homes, Named Workers, and internal teams
• Maintain electronic and paper records in line with Trust policies
• Respond to queries professionally and support team members with financial administration

Essential Requirements:

• 1 year relevant finance experience OR minimum 5 GCSEs (A*-C) including English & Maths
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and analyse financial information
• Knowledge of Trust structure and functions

Additional Info:

• Normal hours: 37½ per week
• Appointment subject to successful pre-employment health assessment
• Access NI required
